WOW = Walk Off Weight
Walking is the easiest way to stay fit and trim, while giving your cardio a boost! These suggestions are from the Prevention health magazine. As with any exercise program, please consult your Dr. before beginning.
What you will need:
Good fitting walking shoes, a sports watch and medium weight elestic resistance band.
What you'll do:
A combination of walking and strength workouts 6 days a week.
To Maximize Results:
Eat about 1,00 calories a day, filling up on whole grains, fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and healthy monounsaturated fats. Studies have also shown that 3 cups of Green Tea daily (hot or cold) can help you burn belly fat!

Interval Walking Explained:
Studies show that interval excercisers lose more weight with shorter workouts than longer excercising at a steady pace. No matter your exercise of choice, you should do it in intervals.
Interval walking consists of easy walking for 5 minutes, then a moderate walk, which takes some effort, for about 1 minute. Then a fast walk, very much harder, for about 30-45 seconds - back to a moderate walk then easy and repeat. Remember to cool down with an easy pace before stopping.
Changing the pace kickstarts your metabolism and keeps your body from adjusting to the routine forcing you to plateau. Change it up!
