Heartland Mall Code of Conduct This shopping center is private property, and no rights shall accrue to the public by virtue of the publics entry into the shopping center or on to the shopping center property. The Following Is Prohibited:
· Running, pushing, shoving, throwing of objects, or use of skates, roller blades, skateboards, or Healey’s. · Acts which could result in physical harm to people or property. · Playing radios or musical instruments without prior approval · Unlicensed Firearm anywhere on the property · Any act defined as a criminal act, by local ordinance or state or federal statute. · Any animals with the exception of dogs trained in assisting the vision or hearing-impaired. · Soliciting or the distribution of handbills or flyers or posting of signs without prior approval. · The sale of any merchandise on sidewalks, parking lot, or within the enclosed mall without approval. · No videotaping of store exteriors or inside stores for any reason without management approval. · All persons entering the shopping center are required to be fully clothed and to wear shoes. · All motor vehicles must be removed from the parking areas by midnight unless the shopping center is open for business. Motor vehicles illegally parked will be ticketed and/or towed away at the vehicle owner’s expense. · Consumption of any alcoholic beverages is not permitted except within those business premises where alcoholic beverages are legally sold for on-premise consumption. Persons who are intoxicated or under the influence of drugs are not permitted on the property. · Persons caught vandalizing or otherwise damaging any part of the shopping center will be prosecuted and held responsible for damages. · Persons in the shopping center when the shopping center is not open for business will be subject to prosecution for trespassing.
Friday and Saturday Nights· Visitors under the age of 16 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian after 6:00pm. · Proof of age will be required if the age of the youth or adult cannot be easily determined. Those who lack appropriate identification will be asked to leave the property. · An adult may escort up to 6 youths, at least one of the youths must be the child of the parent or guardian. · Parents or guardians will be responsible for the actions of the youth. Violations of the above rules may result in expulsion from the property, at the discretion of the management team.
